Notifications

SubHub keeps everyone in the loop by email and text, the moment something needs their attention, without anyone refreshing a page.

Coverage moves fast, often before the school day starts. Notifications make sure the right person hears about each step without watching the screen. We send email and, where it matters, SMS.

Who hears what

  1. A teacher submits a request
Admins get notified there's a new coverage request to approve.
  2. An admin approves it
Eligible substitutes get a text and an email that a matching open job is available.
  3. A substitute claims it
The teacher and admin see the job is covered, no more chasing.
  4. The coverage completes
A wrap-up confirms the day is done and logged.

Email and SMS

Email carries the full detail. SMS is the quick nudge for time-sensitive moments, like a new open job a sub can grab. For urgent requests, the text goes out first so the message lands where people look soonest.

Keep your details current Notifications go to the email and phone number on each person's record. If someone isn't hearing about jobs or approvals, that's the first thing to check.
