Getting started
Finding your way around
Three things to know: the side rail on the left, your dashboard in the middle, and the command palette for jumping anywhere fast.
SubHub looks the same across roles, but what you see is tuned to what you do. Here is the lay of the land.
The side rail
The left rail is your main navigation. Coverage, calendar, open jobs, lesson plans, and people each live here. You only see the sections your role uses, so a substitute's rail is shorter than an admin's.
Your dashboard
The dashboard is the first thing you land on. It leads with whatever needs you most:
- Admins see the approval queue and a month calendar of upcoming absences.
- Teachers see their open requests and their PTO balance.
- Substitutes see jobs for them and the assignments they have already claimed.

The command palette
