Getting started

Signing in

SubHub has no password to remember. Sign in with a magic link sent to your email, or with your school Google account.

You sign in the same way whether you are an admin, a teacher, or a substitute. There are two ways in, and both start from the same screen.

Sign in with a magic link

The fastest way in. We email you a one-time link that signs you in on tap.

  1. Enter your email
    On the sign-in screen, type the email your school uses for you and choose Email me a link.
  2. Open the email
    We send the link within a few seconds. Open it on the same device you want to use SubHub on.
  3. You're in
    The link signs you in and drops you on your dashboard. The link works once and expires shortly after, so request a fresh one if it has been a while.

Sign in with Google

If your school uses Google Workspace, this is one tap and no inbox trip.

  1. Choose Continue with Google
    Pick the Google option on the sign-in screen.
  2. Pick your school account
    Choose the Google account your school gave you. SubHub never sees your password.
Same account, every role Your role (admin, teacher, or substitute) is set on your SubHub record, not on how you sign in. If you wear more than one hat, you will see all of them under the one account.
Didn't get the link? Check spam, confirm the address matches the one on file, then request a new link. Still stuck? Your admin can confirm the email on your record (see manage users and PTO).
